I’m looking for a song that was in a Christmas program, back in the late 1970’s.
it was sung by the character of Mary, Jesus’s Mother,

the lyrics are Is it true, can it be that a peasant girl like me, could give birth to a son, whom they call the promised one.
Chorus Generations after, will recall my name, but will they kneel and pray, like the Shepherds on this ____ day Will they come and believe, will they will they really believe this gift of love from heaven. I can’t remember all of the words, I would like to find it on a CD, being sung, or sheet music something. Thank you
